DEWALT EUROPEAN POWER TOOLS 1 YEAR GUARANTEE

DEWALT is confident of the quality of its products and offers an outstanding guarantee for professional users of the product. This guarantee statement is in addition to and in no way prejudices your contractual rights as a professional user or your statutory rights as a private non-professional user. The guarantee is valid within the territories of the Member States of the European Union and the European Free Trade Area.

Subject to the DEWALT European PPT Guarantee terms and conditions available from your local DEWALT office, seller or at www.2helpU.com, if your DEWALT product becomes defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within 12 months from the date of purchase, DEWALT may replace all defective parts free of charge, or at their discretion, replace the unit free of charge.

DEWALT reserves the right to refuse any claim under this guarantee which in the opinion of the authorised repair agent is not in accordance with the stated DEWALT European Guarantee terms and conditions.

If you wish to make a claim, contact your seller or check the location of your nearest authorised DEWALT repair agent online, in the DEWALT catalogue or contact your DEWALT office at the address indicated in the instruction manual.

DEWALT EUROPEAN POWER TOOL (PT) 3 YEAR GUARANTEE

The DEWALT European PT Guarantee for your product may be extended from 1 year to 3 years from the date of purchase subject to the following terms and conditions.

1. Registration

The product is registered by the original DEWALT Product user within 4 Weeks of Purchase at www.DEWALT.eu/3. (DEWALT Product user contact details, tool catalogue number, serial number and date code required).

Kits comprising a range of tools are excluded from registration, individual tools from kits must be registered

2. General terms and Conditions

2.1 The DEWALT European PT 3 Year Guarantee is available to the original DEWALT product user who has purchased the DEWALT products from an authorised DEWALT European reseller for use in the course of their trade or profession. The DEWALT European PT Guarantee is not available to persons purchasing DEWALT product for the purpose of resale or Hire.

2.2 This guarantee is not transferrable. It is only available to the original DEWALT product user who has purchased and registered the product as identified above.

2.3 In addition to the terms and conditions outlined in this document, the terms and conditions stated in the DEWALT European PT Guarantee also apply.

2.4 A product repair or replacement under this guarantee does not extend or renew the guarantee period. The 3-year guarantee period starts from the original purchase date and ends 36 months later.

2.5 By registering the product under the DEWALT European PT 3 year guarantee the DEWALT product user accepts the terms and conditions specified above and that the product is excluded from the DEWALT 30-1-1 policy withdrawn 01-01-2016.

3. Products excluded from the DEWALT European PT 3 Year Guarantee.

In addition to the product exclusions stated in the DEWALT European PT Guarantee, section 3, the following DEWALT branded products are also excluded

Fastening Tools e.g. Nailers, Powder Impact tools.

Batteries and Chargers

Rebuilt or Reconditioned products identified with additional markings – “Factory rework” and/or “Q”.

Compressors and generators.

4. Making a Guarantee Claim

4.1 To make a guarantee claim contact your seller or check the location of your nearest DEWALT authorised DEWALT repair agent at www.2helpU.com.

4.2 The DEWALT Tool must be returned to the seller or an authorised DEWALT repair agent with all parts complete, with the original proof of purchase and a valid DEWALT European 3-year guarantee certificate.

4.3 DEWALT reserves the right to refuse any claim under this guarantee which in the opinion of the authorised repair agent is not due to material or manufacturing defect or in accordance with the stated DEWALT European PT Guarantee terms and conditions.

5. Changes to Terms and Conditions

5.1 DEWALT reserves the right to review and amend its guarantee policies, periods and product eligibility without notice as DEWALT considers appropriate.

Makita® 30 DAY RETURN / REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE

Every Makita® product is thoroughly inspected and tested before leaving the factory. If you are not satisfied with any Makita product within 30 days of purchase, return it to an authorised service centre and Makita will provide, at Makita’s option, a replacement or refund. This guarantee does not apply to Makita® Accessories and/or wearable items such as bits, blades or cutters.

Makita® General Product Limited Warranty

Every Makita® product is warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for the period of ONE YEAR from the date of original purchase. Certain products referenced below have longer warranties. Should any trouble develop during the one-year period, return the COMPLETE product, freight prepaid by user, to one of Makita’s Factory or Authorized Service Centers. If inspection shows the trouble is caused by defective workmanship or material, Makita will repair (or at our option, replace) without charge.

MAKITA® WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

These warranties do not apply to Makita Accessories or where:

Repairs have been made or attempted by others

Repairs are required because of normal wear and tear. With regard to Pneumatic Nailers, normal wear parts include the following and are not covered under this warranty: piston/driver assemblies, piston stops, driver blades, rubber o-rings, seals, isolators, air filters, and driver belts.

The tool has been abused, misused, improperly maintained or operated. With regard to Pneumatic Nailers, improper operation includes the failure to use clean, dry regulated compressed air and/or air pressures exceeding the maximum indicated on the nailer casting. With regard to Lithium-Ion Tools, improper operation includes the use of a non-genuine or “knock-off” battery on a Lithium-Ion Tool or Charger. With regard to Laser Instruments, abuse includes liquid damage or physical damage caused by impact.

Alterations have been made to the tool

IN NO EVENT SHALL MAKITA BE LIABLE FOR (A) ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE SALE OR USE OF THE PRODUCTS SOLD UNDER THESE WARRANTIES, OR (B) ANY AMOUNT IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID TO MAKITA FOR THE PRODUCTS SOLD HEREUNDER. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES BOTH DURING AND AFTER THE TERMS OF THE WARRANTY.

MAKITA DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF “MERCHANTABILITY” AND “FITNESS FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE” AFTER THE EXPIRATION OF ANY EXPRESS WARRANTY.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Bahco

All Bahco hand tools are offered with a lifetime warranty; a warranty against material and manufacturing defects for the normal lifetime of the tool in question. "Lifetime" is defined as the period of time a tool can be expected to last under normal use and conditions.

Defective product will be repaired, replaced or substituted. SNA Europe (Bahco parent company) does not provide for the transportation cost for repaired, replaced or substituted product. Any product that has been incorrectly used and/or maintained or that is worn from improper use or that has suffered unauthorized modifications is not covered by this warranty.

A warranty claim requires the submission or shipment of the complete tool in question with verification of sale documentation (AHC Powertools invoice), which must validate the purchase date and the product designation, to the retailer or distributor. Replacement or repair of the product will be carried out as quickly as possible. At the reception of the replaced or repaired product the customer is asked to validate conformity. Replacements and repairs provided under the warranty do not lengthen or renew the warranty period for the tool.


 

 

 

Bosch

 

Call 0344 736 0109 and the Bosch Service Centre will arrange the best course of action to get your issue rectified. Bosch Professional Power Tools come with a 1-year warranty as standard but if you register the tool online within 28 days, you'll get an extra 2 years warranty free. Bosch DIY Power Tools and Bosch Garden Power Tools come with a 2-year warranty as standard. Please Note, you will require to produce your AHC Powertools invoice as proof of purchase. The Bosch guarantee applies to tools that are bought and used in Europe. 

PLEASE NOTE - The guarantee does not apply where:

  • Repairs have been made or attempted by others.
  • Repairs are required because of normal wear and tear.
  • The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained.
  • Alterations have been made to the tool.
  • This does not affect your statutory rights.


 

 

Fein

 

1 Year Standard Warranty:

Re-register within 6 weeks of purchase and receive an extra 2 years warranty. Please register online here with Fein.

Faulty Items:

If your item develops a fault within 30 days from purchase, you must contact Fein direct on 01327 308730 – they will discuss the next steps to take.

If for some reason your item develops a fault outside of 30 days from purchase, you must contact Fein direct on 01327 308730 – they will arrange to collect and assess the tool. If your item is found to have a fault your item will be repaired free of charge if within warranty.

Warranty Conditions:

The warranty shall not apply to defects caused by misuse, neglect, accident, improper storage, installation or handling, frost damage, repair or alteration not carried out or authorised by Karcher or the use of incorrect electrical supply voltage, contaminated water supply or unsuitable chemicals.

The warranty applies to H&G products used for domestic use only and shall not apply to any products used for commercial purposes.

ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

A one-year warranty will apply to all parts, except those listed below as normal wearing parts, or parts which are specifically covered by an extended warranty.

FIVE-YEAR EXTENDED LIMITED WARRANTY

A five-year warranty will apply to all molded nylon parts:

  • MotorHousing, Cap and Grille

90-DAY LIMITED WARRANTY

A 90-day warranty applies to the following parts, which are considered normal wearing parts:

WARRANTY STATEMENT

Paslode's sole liability hereunder will be to replace any part or accessory which proves to be defective within the specific time period. Any replacement part or accessory provided in accordance with this warranty will carry a warranty for the balance of the period of warranty applicable to the part it replaces. This warranty does not apply to part replacement required due to normal wear.

This warranty is void as to any tool which has been subjected to misuse, abuse, accidental or intentional damage, use with fasteners, fuel, batteries, or battery chargers not meeting Paslode specifications, size, or quality, improperly maintained, repaired with other than genuine Paslode replacement parts, damaged in transit or handling, or which, in Paslode's opinion, has been altered or repaired in a way that affects or detracts from the performance of the tool.

PASLODE MAKES NO WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, RELATING TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS, OR OTHERWISE, EXCEPT AS STATED ABOVE, and Paslode's liability AS STATED ABOVE AND AS ASSUMED ABOVE is in lieu of all other warranties arising out of, or in connection with, the use and performance of the tool, except to the extent other wise provided by applicable law. PASLODE SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES WHICH MAY ARISE FROM LOSS OF ANTICIPATED PROFITS OR PRODUCTION, SPOILAGE OF MATERIALS,, INCREASED COST OF OPERATION, OR OTHERWISE.

In the unlikely event that a Product is faulty or not as described or is delivered damaged your rights are set out in our Sale Terms. If you are a consumer you may have additional legal rights and nothing in these Terms (including our Sales Terms) affects these rights.

If the Products are damaged in transit, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us within the first 24 hours of delivery of the goods in question. Where you have accepted delivery of the goods and have formally notified the driver that the goods are damaged, this time limit is extended to three days.
