The DeWalt DCC018N-XJ is a compact 18V XR cordless tyre inflator that reaches 11 bar (160 PSI) and inflates a 235/70R17 car tyre in about 400 seconds. A digital gauge with automatic shut-off lets you preset an exact pressure in BAR, kPa or PSI and prevents over-inflation, while the LED light makes roadside work possible at night. It handles both high-pressure items such as car, van and bike tyres and high-volume items such as air beds and paddling pools, which it can also deflate.

Supplied as body only, so an 18V XR battery and charger are sold separately. It comes with a 12V car adapter, high-pressure adapter, Presta bicycle adapter and ball needle stored on board.

Performance

Maximum pressure is 11 bar (160 PSI). Inflation rate is 0.35 l/min at 6.2 bar and around 0.6 l/min at 2 bar, and a 235/70R17 tyre takes roughly 400 seconds from flat. The 75 cm high-pressure hose reaches all four valves without moving the unit around the vehicle.

Accuracy and safety

Set your target pressure on the digital gauge and the inflator stops automatically when it gets there, so tyres are never over-inflated. Readings switch between BAR, kPa and PSI to match whatever your vehicle's door placard or manual uses.

Three power options

Run it from any DeWalt 18V XR battery, from your vehicle's 12V socket using the included car adapter, or from the mains with the 240V AC adapter, available separately as spare part N557515.
